Parisian Peel Microdermabrasion
The Parisian Peel Microdermabrasion skin renewal process reduces or eliminates skin blemishes resulting from injury, aging, or prolonged exposure to the sun. With this non-chemical, non-surgical treatment, we use a fine crystal abrasive to remove the outermost skin layer (the stratum corneum), which contains dead skin cells, to reveal the smoother, softer layer beneath. This treatment may also be used for acne.
The procedure has little discomfort and requires no anesthetic.
Micro-Peel (Microdermabrasion plus glycolic peel)
Just as it sounds, this treatment starts microdermabrasion followed by a glycolic peel. The microdermabrasion removes the stratum corneum, which clears the way for an optimum affect by the glycolic peel.
Chemical Peels
These chemical peels are fantastic! Chemical peels allow the top layer of damaged and discolored skin to be separated and "peeled away," revealing the newer, youthful, radiant skin beneath. By forcing cell turnover, the older dull and damaged cells peel off much more quickly.
Lighter peels with Alpha Hydroxy acids, such as Glycolic Acid, can be very effective in a series of "no downtime" procedures. Your skin will have a light pink look with little or no noticeable peeling or flaking. These superficial peels are ideal for improving pigmentation problems, fine wrinkles, and sun damage. They can actually be used anywhere on the face and body.
Salicylic acid peels (beta hydroxy acid) are ideal for acne and oily skin. Salicylic acid has the ability to penetrate the pores as it is soluble in oil. We like it because it's so effective for unclogging pores and improving acne.
Glycolic Peel
This popular treatment penetrates deep enough to exfoliate to a cellular level, but doesn't leave you too red to return to work immediately afterward.
Salicylic Peel
For reducing comedones and acne, and to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, this peel uses beta-hydroxy acid with anti-microbial effects to superficially exfoliate the skin to remove excess cellular buildup.
Jessner Peel
Excellent for all skin types, this aggressive, deeper peel is a combination of salicylic acid, lactic acid and resorcinol and is one of the most effective cosmetic peels. It can be used to lighten areas of hyperpigmentation and to treat aged sun-damaged skin. This peel is also effective for treating mild or severe acne, discoloration, sun damage, and wrinkling. This peel is not limited to the face, either. It is effective on the neck, back, hands, and upper chest.
Note to patients with acne, oily, or thicker skin: The Jessners peel has a special benefit because it tends to decrease oil production and open clogged sebaceous follicles, which abets the healing process of acne.
Benev GF-DNA Serum
This Benev GF-DNA Serum is an intensive topical serum designed to diminish the signs of aging and sun damage by restoring the growth factors (the natural proteins that are abundant in young skin) present in healthy, young skin. GF-DNA fights aging with key ingredients for DNA repair. DNA damage is considered a major factor in visible aging.
